The little fox cocktail bar by Liam Horn

1.The little fox cocktail bar is Unique city experience, Can you tell us more about what to expect when coming to The little fox? We are Jozi’s first exclusive distillery bar aka we are attached to the Ginologist Gin Distillery run by Craft Link Distillers. We have over 100 gins in our collection and are able to make over 150 different classic cocktails. We offer tastings and tours of the distillery as well. Our cocktails are also pretty wild (not only gin either) with items such as the Peanut Butter and honey old fashioned and the Strawberry Fizzer Fizz for example. Our menus change every 3 months with different themes and the gin collection keeps growing almost weekly.

  1. Can you tell us abit more about the team at the little fox?We have a kick ass crew of friendly, passionate and talented ladies who are all about making you feel at home. Expect plenty of banter.
  2. Can you tell us more about @jozidrinks and there connection to The little fox?GarethWainwright was first approached by Craft Link Distillers to consult on building the space and thereafter was offered a partnership with them to run the outlet as a partner/beverage director. After opening a few notable bars and mentoring some of SA’s finest bartending talent, The Little Fox allows him a platform to continue building the professional bartending community as well as do his part in making the city deep an awesome place to visit/live/work.

4.What are some of the most memorable moments at The little fox to date? We have a lot of foreign visitors coming to the Fox precinct and one night in particular we had a large group of Google employees from around the world stumble upon us after having dinner at Urbanologi. Let’s just say their plans of going home early  were upended by some Nigerian dancefloor fillers and Old Fashioneds! J Something from Micasa has a gin which is made here at the distillery and the launch party was off the hook!

  1. What are the must haves on the menu when coming to The little fox?The PB&H Old Fahioneds have been very popular as well as our White Rabbit Fizz and Sour Worm Sour but getting stuck into the Gin collection doesn’t hurt either.
