Talking about Jozi Free Tours by Liam Horn

1.When was the very first Jozi Free tour and how did it go?
-On the 4th of May 2018, exactly a year ago to be exact.
2.Knowing Jozi well enough to offer tours means you must know some really good spots, What are some of your favorite spots in Jozi to stop off at?
-One of them is Chancellor House, where Nelson Mandela & Or Tambo owned a law firm. My other fav spot is right opposite the City Library, were we get to see the statue that was dedicated to all the female freedom fighters that protested over racial discrimination and equality.
3.How does one book or get ahold of you to join an up coming tour?
-Guests can go to our website for more information, however there is no need to book in advance.  Guests just need to show up and look out for the Maroon umbrella.
4.Which tours over the years have stood out for you and why?
-The City Centre tours, because Joburg is rich in history and has some very interesting architectural styles of buildings.
5.How do you explain or describe Jozi as a city to foreigners and first timers?
-Jozi is South Africa’s biggest city and capital of Gauteng. It came into existence in the 19th century as a gold mining settlement. Whether you are on business, in search of a cultural encounter, an adrenaline rush or simply want to relax and unwind for ages days, the city of Johannesburg has everything you’re looking for and more.
